2019 was a weird year in Spain. But if there's one thing that stood out above all else, it was the number of times we went to the polls. There were two general elections, regional, municipal, and European Parliament elections. We had more elections than a politician has excuses.

It took a ton of time, patience, and paper - paper for the ballots, paper for the minutes, paper for the campaign posters, paper to dry our tears after so much propaganda.

But, as the year was coming to an end, we decided to transform what was once a symbol of political turmoil into a celebration of new beginnings.
